SAND MOLD WORKSHOPS: get a jump-start on your cast metal sculpture by participating in any of the upcoming sand mold workshops BEFORE the metal pour at our Fall Arts Festival!!! You'll get hands-on guidance from a professional, and you'll get a discounted rate!!!

Sand molds carved during any of the sand mold workshops, prior to the Fall Arts Festival will receive a discounted price of only $25!! Tickets for sand molds may be purchased in advance from KECU beginning July 30, or on site at any sand molding workshop. www.kecu.org for more info.

2nd annual FALL ARTS FESTIVAL, Sunday, Sep. 11. This outdoor event featured live music - headlining Mitch Barrett, new sculptures on exhibition, kids art activities with Jennifer Zingg, and our first ever Hot Metal pour public workshop!! The mteal pour was conducted by Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum:

MACBETH - June 2011
JSP's own Shakespeare in the park...
This unique, professional production of Macbeth will be June 3,4,5 & 10,11,12 at 8pm. Arrive early to enjoy a picnic in the park and explore the more than 20 sculptures currently on exhibition at JSP. Make your picnic reservations at Sage Garden Cafe or Wilson Nurseries today!! ~ or bring your own picnic to the park. And DON'T FORGET YOUR CHAIRS & BLANKETS!

This production is inspired by Doug Schatz’ sculpture “The Crucible” which will become the setting for Macbeth.
This women-centric interpretation of Macbeth is helmed by independent director Kathi E.B. Ellis. JSP Artistic Director Melanie VanHouten will also serve as production designer, enhancing the natural setting of the sculpture. Also part of the artistic team are, percussionist Phyllis Free as sound designer, Anna Latek as costume designer, Dawn Schulz as choreographer, Lee Look as fight choreographer, and Megan Burnett as voice coach.
The production will embrace the natural elements of JSP 'where art meets the earth'.
The all woman company includes, Megan Caudill, Lynne Chenault, Triza Cox, Natalie Fields, Tess Krebs, Tristan Krebs, Savannah Napier, Maggie Lou Rader, Jinn Fuller Renfro, Katie Williams, Cordelia Jones and Carolyn Wilson.
