ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mollie Rabiner is Josephine Sculpture Park’s Park Manager and native of Lexington, KY who now resides in Frankfort, KY. Mollie holds a BFA in sculpture from the University of Kentucky, an MFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and Certificate of Graduate Studies in Expressive and Creative Arts from Salve Regina University. Over the past several years she has been honored to work with groups in various settings on large and small collaborative levels, using art and the creative process to link people and communities while also helping individuals delve deeper into their own personal depths. Mollie combines a perfect blend from her past professional experiences that reflect clearly within her duties as Park Manager. Some highlights include, work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, AmeriCorps service focusing on environmental education, arts education administrator, assistant professor in sculpture, and fabricator of architectural metals. As Park Manager, she supports the artists in residence program, along with Art in Public Places, maintains the studio space and equipment, sculptures on site at JSP, and the park grounds.
