Check in with Artist in Residence Céline Browning

Experience the first three weeks of Céline Browning's residency at JSP!

Week One: Céline introduces herself, why she became an artist, and her project at JSP. "I'm...excited to embark on this project specifically because it's actually...based on a project that my mother, who died five years ago, designed. It was her last piece that she never got to realize...It's exciting to take her ideas and then add my own spin on it..."

Week Two: Céline is creating a sculptural bird blind made of plasma cut steel panels! She explains, "each panel is going to be depicting a native bird and a native plant species." The panels she shares show morning doves with Jack-in-the-pulpit, indigo buntings with columbine, and American kestrels with mayapple.

Week Three: Experience how Céline went from sketchbook to sculpture!
