In August 2022, Jeri K. Howell accepted a promotion to Assistant Director.

Jeri Katherine Howell began her career at Josephine Sculpture Park as the Fall Arts Festival Coordinator in 2018. After a successful event, she transitioned into the Park's second staff member as the part-time Program Coordinator the following year. As the Park's programming grew under Jeri's leadership, she was promoted to full-time Program Director in 2020. Over the past two years, Jeri has been instrumental in the Park's decision making, visioning, and has started new initiatives like the Conservation and Outreach Internship, Art in Nature Camp, and native plant restoration projects.

Jeri's promotion comes at a pivotal point in the Park's development. As Assistant Director, she will focus on people and experiences - both internally with Park staff and externally with visitors, partners, volunteers, and the community at-large. "I look forward to helping cultivate a more resilient, equitable, creative, and fun place for our community to play and for our staff to work," Jeri shares. "I believe in our mission to connect people with each other and the land through the arts, and I believe the impact of this place on visitors has a ripple effect that helps make the world a better place - now and in the future. It's an honor to continue collaborating with our cultural and ecological communities as JSP's Assistant Director."
